The Jubilee School

The Jubilee School, a co-educational secondary institution, opened in 1993, to develop the academic potential of outstanding scholarship students from Jordan and the region, with special emphasis on students from less developed areas. Its mission is to nurture the next generation of leaders - socially responsible, critical thinkers, able to address challenges within their own communities as well as contribute to building bridges throughout the world.Panerai Replica Watches

Each year, hundreds of students from public and private schools throughout the kingdom apply to the Jubilee School. Approximately 100 meritorious students are selected after passing the rigorous admission process that includes a scholastic aptitude test, evaluation of potential creativity and a personal interview.

Through enriched advanced curricula, blended learning, and personal development program, students are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of the 21st century including critical thinking, innovation, interfaith dialogue, human rights, global citizenship, emotional intelligence, self-discovery, communication, project management, and entrepreneurship. These skills are instilled in the students throughout their daily classes and by practical experiences such as community service and student initiatives. The Jubilee students are also required to submit a groundbreaking graduation project, which encourages them to initiate and develop business ideas by utilizing the latest technologies while implementing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) principles. Additionally, students participate annually in several national, and international exchange programs, debates, competitions, and conferences. These experiences allow students to interact with their global peers, subject experts and role models from around the world.

Jubilee School students and graduates continuously make Jordan proud with their innovation and creativity. In 2019 alone, students received 89 awards at international and national competitions, while the Jubilee School received the ‘Best School’ award for two consecutive years at the Genius Olympiad, USA, for having the most high-quality projects submitted by students from one school. Our students stand out like Salahdeen who won Intel’s 2013 award in Applied Mathematics inspiring NASA to name a main-belt asteroid after him; and a team of girls, despite being told that “IT is an exclusive boys’ club,” placed 20th in the world in an App Challenge competition. They are inventors like Hala and Raed who developed a mobile application for early detection of Alzheimer’s disease through iris imaging; and, Omar and Hamzeh who invented smart glasses that enable the hearing and speaking impaired to communicate by translating eye movements into spoken and written word on a mobile application.

Our graduates have gone on to contribute to companies such as Google, Microsoft, and Yahoo among others, like Sanad Bushnaq. Sanad has been engaged in developing state-of-the-art products at Toshiba in Japan and holds several worldwide patents for his inventions in microchips technologies and semiconductors. Currently, Sanad is a visiting scholar at the MIT Media Lab.
