New students are also being welcomed into the program.

Individual lessons resumed on September 9th while group lessons began on Saturday, September 15th.

Currently there are around 200 students enrolled in classes at the preparatory level, and around 30 students enrolled in the Bachelors Degree Programs with Yarmouk University.  Those offerings include performance, composition and conducting, Arabic music, music education, and music therapy.

The NMC, established in 1986, is Jordan’s premier institution for the development of talented local musicians and the promotion of music appreciation.  The NMC is a pioneering program in the Arab world that provides orchestral and Arab music education at college and preparatory levels, leading to Bachelor’s degrees in music specialties.
