The National Music Conservatory's (NMC’s) Young Musicians Orchestra offers opportunities for kids to develop cognitive and teamwork skills while enjoying the pleasure of music performance. The renewed interest in participating in the Young Musicians Orchestra comes in part due to NMC's renewed efforts in diversifying and expanding music education programs for children, and the ensemble allows these kids to enrich their formal educations with weekly rehearsals and regular performances. This quarter, the group offered recitals for high-level graduates and performed on Mother's Day at the Children's Museum, at Souq Jara's opening ceremony and Book Fair, and at the Alfrere School.
