In 2012, Jordanian Civil Society Organizations were evaluated as sustainably 'Impeded' again, demonstrating no change since 2011. The 2012 report for the Middle East and North Africa, has been released early this year and “serves as a useful info source for CSOs, governments, donors, academics to better understand key aspects of sustainability" according to USAID. The CSO sustainability index assesses key components of CSOs in Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Yemen, West Bank and Gaza with seven interrelated dimensions. The seven dimensions are using MSI’s standard indicators for the region which are: legal environment, organizational capacity, financial viability, advocacy, service provision, infrastructure, public image. The IRCKHF conducted Jordan’s section of the 2011 and 2012 CSO Sustainability Index Reports, as well as held the expert committee meeting on 22-October-2014 evaluating CSO’s sustainability for the year of 2013.
