Our outreach goes beyond Jordan.
Four decades ago, we introduced a more comprehensive development approach integrating education, training, family health, income-generation opportunities, and revolving loans managed by local communities. With a laser focus on women’s critical role in achieving sustainable progress in these areas, this approach helped transform development thinking in Jordan beyond traditional charity-oriented social welfare.
As a result, our multidisciplinary inclusive programs rapidly became a source of best practice models in Jordan and countries throughout the broader MENA and East Asian regions, in women’s empowerment and microfinance, family health, refugee and trauma support, education, and STEM, and cross-cultural understanding.
