The King Hussein Foundation International (KHFI) was launched in 1999 to commemorate and sustain King Hussein's humanitarian vision and his commitment to global peace.
KHFI is registered as a 501c (3) non-profit organization in the US to support the development efforts of the King Hussein Foundation in Jordan and beyond.
KHFI programs include the King Hussein Leadership Prize and the Media and Humanity Program.
The King Hussein Leadership Prize is an international award given to individuals, groups, or institutions that reflect King Hussein's visionary and courageous leadership in their efforts to promote sustainable development, human rights, tolerance, equity, and peace.
The Media and Humanity Program supports access to films and media projects that highlight shared values, rights, and aspirations across social, economic, political, and cultural divides with special emphasis on the Middle East and Muslim world.
