The King Hussein Foundation and RoboGarden Prepares Students for Tomorrow’s Job Markets
Amman, Jordan, June 30, 2019-- The King Hussein Foundation and RoboGarden, the educational game-based platform, signed an agreement to develop technology savvy children and youth by introducing a fun, -easy, blended learning approach. RoboGarden’s programming and coding platform integrated with the King Hussein Foundation’s Jubilee Institute’s STEAM (Sciences, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) education program, will contribute to developing future digitally-skilled knowledge workers and qualified STEAM educators.
“Technology, and coding in particular, is the language of the future. Through our Jubilee STEAM Program, we want to access this opportunity to a wide age group, from 5-22 years of age, in Jordan and the region. Our partnership with RoboGarden will allow us to motivate students to learn through play, preparing them for tomorrow’s job market”, commented Ms. Hana Mitri Shahin, Executive Director of the King Hussein Foundation.
“Coding is the language of the future and, we need to equip the new generations with the right skill sets to meet the growing needs of the world., As KHF has always encouraged and challenged students to bring out the best in them through the Jubilee Institute, We are confident that KHF is the right partner in Jordan to help equip the students with the right programming and soft skills needed. Our platform converts training of logical thinking, the essence of program coding, into a joyful and more engaging way to ensure the maximum benefit of the students”, commented Hisham Al Maghrabi, RoboGgarden partner.

The King Hussein Foundation (KHF) fosters equitable access to socio-economic, educational, health, and cultural opportunities for women, youth, and the marginalized. KHF’s Jubilee Institute, which encompasses the Jubilee School and the Jubilee Center for Excellence in Education – enhances the national and regional standards for education by utilizing advanced educational technology and state-of-the-art testing tools. The center seeks to forge a path for educational development through innovative, interactive curricula, and stimulating training programs for students, teachers, and administrators.
RoboGarden teaches students different coding concepts, STEAM subjects, and good morals through an integrated development environment for children and youth, to empower their ability to innovate and learn computer science concepts in a very easy, enjoyable way.
